As the leading figure in DJ Squeeky's Mo Cheda camp, Tom Skeemask spent years as a legend in the Memphis, TN, rap scene before extending his reach to a national audience. His first big release, 2 Wild for the World, became a modest success in the South without the help of airplay, and in 2001, Skeemask returned with a follow-up album, You Can't Hold Me Back, both of which featured production by Squeeky.
